Printing your artwork

Digital downloads - printing your artwork

Buying a digital download file allows you much more flexibility in how you print your artwork.

You can print on a home / office printer or upload to an online or local print service.

£1 from every digital file sale supports a nonprofit.

What’s included:

  • High-resolution (300 dpi) PNG file, 3600px x 4400px.
  • A large file which will give you a higher quality print.

Please note: The file is sold for personal, individual use only. Commercial and personal sharing is prohibited.

How it works:

Download your file

Whether you are printing from home/office or using an online print service, you'll need to save your files on your mobile device or computer.

After purchase, you'll receive an email order confirmation which contains a link to download your files. Please check your junk/spam folder if this email isn't in your inbox.

Print your print

Printing at home or in the office on your own printer is easy - open the file, select print, and depending on your printer you should be able to select different sizes and printing options.

Upload to an online service, or email your files to a local print shop

The file is set at 300ppi which is a high resolution setting.  This means that there are 300 pixels per inch (PPI), resulting in more pixel information and creating a high-quality, crisp image. You can print on paper, card, canvas, the choice is yours.

We recommend proofing your artwork before confirming your ordering.  This is usually done as part of the ordering process - you will have the opportunity to centre and scale the print.

Alternatively, you can send your file to a local print shop and work with them to choose your preferred printing option.

Framing

There are many retailers selling ready made frames - we personally love IKEA frames which are light and easy to use (and hang!).  An even better option is to rummage in your local charity shop for vintage frames to add that extra bit of uniqueness to your wall decor.

Remember to size your print to fit either the overall frame size or the opening of your mount border if you're using one.

Where to Print

Below are some suggested print services for uploading and printing artwork. Some of these we have used but others have been recommended by clients - if you have any feedback or further suggestions please contact us at hello@goodprintology.com

Although they do not use the same eco inks and sustainable papers we use - it is still better than buying a mass produced print. Printed on non-sustainable paper, using harmful chemical laden inks and wrapped in plastic.
